Heptonstall Hurriers are without a doubt the most decorated and celebrated fell-running club in Heptonstall. What started as a handful of fell-running enthusiasts living in the village has now burgeoned into a valley-wide fell running force as far as Hebden Bridge and even Mytholmroyd. Sometimes we even run in Lancashire.
The only formalised race entries we have in the fell-running calendar are an annual mixed team entry to the Calderdale Way Relay in December (12 people), and the Pennine Bridleway Relay in February (10 people) although some of us are also members of the Calder Valley Fell Runners or Tod Harriers with conflicting loyalties as well as personas.
A variety of Hurriers-branded apparel is available for purchase - enabling members to retain their suave, debonair swagger, both on and off the fells.
